Don’t be jealous of others

A quote to live by:

“Health, happiness and success depend upon the fighting spirit of each person. The big thing is not what happens to us in life – but what we do about what happens to us.” – George Allen

Jealousy is common human trait, we all have them. Some people don’t like to see others happy in their life, especially if it sounds like “an achievement”. Some people don’t like to see others having something better than us. Many times, we like to believe we are better than the others. When we see someone whose life seems “better” or they are more happy than us, we develop a dislike or a hatred for that person.

We have to believe in ourself, our capabilities and reach for our goals in life. Many people are afraid to do certain things because they are afraid of failings or make mistakes. The only way a person can learn and grow stronger is when they experience failures/make mistakes in their lifetime. We don’t come out of our mother’s womb and become successful right away. The right opportunies won’t always come knocking in our door, we have to create them.

When we see someone as having something better than us, we should learn to appreciate what we have. Keep remembering that there are many people in Africa and other countries barely live by with enought food and necessarities. Why should we envy others around us whenother  people in a far worst situation are envying us.

What I want to say is: Appreciate your life and what you have.  To be successful or have an achievement, one must go out of their comfort zone and take necessary risks.
